wooo hooooo~~!!!
15may08
*throw away my speckies* arrr bissss~~
*dump away my remaining pairs of lens* weee~~~
i had decided on doing the InterLase... though it really cost more, i thought, my eyes are more important than the $$$, and it will be a safer and precise way... so.... :)
my appointment with Dr Lee was at 2pm yesternoon... again, the optometrist will do a final check on your eyes before proceeding with the preparation of the surgery..
had quite a long wait till 3.30pm, when they called my name...
the nurse had briefed me with a eye kit pouch...
contains some eye drops (which i have to drop every hr, for dont know how long...)
an eye shield, for me to wear while i am asleep.
finally they donned me with the surgery gown, butterflies in my tummy!! kept wanting to pee lorrrr......
the whole surgery took about 10mins, i was told to stare at a light, however, it wasnt really easy to concentrate~~~!!
i could actually see Dr Lee "peeling off my cornea" and there was some burning smell (which is normal) and the next moment, he is DONE!! :)
i was placed in a dark room for about 10mins b4 Dr Lee reviewed on me again!
by 4pm, i left the place, with my shades on..
after the whole process, i couldnt really see clearly, there were kinda hollow and blur vision, by the time i got home, i was very tired and took a nap.....
at night, the hollow kind of vision hadnt subside.. i should think that was normal...
16may08 (0900hrs)
when i wake this morning, my vision became better!!!
and yes, i am going to c him again for the 1st review after the surgery later this morning.... (after birdy finish bathing) *grin*
