Moscow, been there done that!
Location as at now *Sunday, Aug 19 2007 1329hrs*: Dubai Renaissance Hotel
just came back from Moscow yesterday, nice weather of temperature ranging 17-29degree... think i will not be going back Moscow again, once is enough for me... :)
when we touched down at moscow, the traffic was damn horrible! usually it would take about 1-1.5hr to reach our hotel, however that day it took us almost 3hrs!!!!!! can u imagine how bad was the jam that our vehicle couldnt even move??? and i need to comment about our dear bus driver, i should think he just got his licence, kept practising his E-brake!! got once we nearly hit the car in front of us, and we were all flew off from our seats!!!
Day 1: after touching down, we headed to the "must visit" area, call the Red Square, where the remarkable St Basil Cathedral is located. We spent the whole evening snapping away like nobody's business, tourist who walked past us thought we were amusing and some actually took pics of us playing!!!!! wakakaka...
*St Basil Cathedral: built in mid 16th century by decree of Ivan the terrible in honour of the capture of the kazan khanate, part of the former golden horde.....*

i approached this couple for a picture!!!

that's my McDonald!

the graceful horses...

we, resting our feet....

Day 2: the bazaar, it was a little hotter than Day 1... weather just like singapore except it wasnt as humid....

the russian dolls...

this 2 kids were actually performing, the little boy so cute lor...

i realised in Russia, taxi was not very prominent on the road, we were trying to flap a taxi back to hotel after the day, when i raised out my hand and flapped, 2-3 cars stopped in front of us!!!!! we got a shock!!! and they started to ask where u going and stated a price for us... initiately my colleague refused to take the ride, as it wasnt safe at all!!! people there were just.......... errr, better dont describe too much...
however, after some hesitations and due to the heat constraint, we finally got on to a car, (not very good condition, really v v old car).... thanks god, we reached hotel safe and sound! :)
Conclusion:
Russians really can drink alot!!!!!!!!!!
the flight was considered a relatively tough flight after all...... i reckon they started drinking as young as 8-10yrs old, due to the harse weather (their summer is only about 2-3mths, winter can go as low as -40degree!!) ... people were not very friendly... eeek!!!
Food not very fantastic, things were very costly.....
okie for now, gona bathe and prepare to go out shopping le... bb.. cya in singapore!!
