some kind of service!!!

had dinner at MR BEAN'S CAFE. reached there around 7+pm, there wasnt much customers except one group of 4, and another 3guys who were having main course, a couple who just came in about the same time as us, and a few others siting outside drinking.... and i counted at least 5-6 staff working that evening!!! (not inclusive kitchen)


"may i have the set dinner? 1 pork chop set and chicken chop set"
"huh?"
"we want to order the dinner set, 1 pork chop and 1 chix chop"
*blur look*
"so what is the soup of the day?"
*long pause.....* "brother brother, what is the soup of the day?", the other guy answered, "Chicken soup"
"so what drinks do you have?"
*again, 1 bloody sotong look and he walked away*


"excused me, may i have your order please?", another staff came asking
" we want a pork chop and a chix chop set!, and what drinks do you have for the set?"

kaoz, took almost 8mins to take a simple order which dont even need a minute!!!


as there wasnt any crowd at all, i expected my food to be on my table like 5mins at most,

we waited 10mins for our drinks,
with another 15mins for the soup to be served, (i saw my soup lying on the bar counter for at least 1min, with staff walking around doing nothing, and yet nobody bothered to serve them!!)
plus next 20-25mins for the main course............

looking out of the window while waiting, i was horrified by what i had saw!! (the cafe had ice water dispenser for people sitted outside) at first i thought the guy was just checking if there was still water left in the dispenser, instead he took out a spoon and scooped an insect from that dispenser and cover it up as though as nothing had happened!!! OMG! that showed how "discreet" he was....

after finishing the main course, i had signalled the staff to bring our dessert, (which is the ice cream)... it took them further 10mins to bring us the bloody scoop of icecream!!!!

*one came with 2 chocolate icecream*

on purpose, i asked, what other choices other than chocolate do you have?
"huh?"
"i am asking, do you have any other flavours other than chocolate???"

OMG, really pissed me off, was i speaking german or what???

after the bill came (without me asking for it!!!!), birdy took out his credit card to pay.
"sorry sir, our machine is down, only cash....."

that was the 1st time i left a comment behind the receipt, "SERVICE WAS SLOW & LOUSY!"
